UNITED STATES NAVY BLUE ANGELS & FAT ALBERT

The Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s Flight demonstration team, began in 1946 near the end of World War II because of a desire to keep the public interested in Naval Aviation.

The Blue Angels performed for the first time in June 1946, at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL.
